We met Kevin Byrne while he was working at an open house in our area. He was friendly, not pushy and offered to come by and give us an estimate on our property we were interested in selling. We had a few estimates given to us but Kevin’s evaluation was by far the closest to what we thought our home was valued at. Since some of the other realtors seemed very strong in their low assessment of our property we felt we were being bullied into listing our home for a super low price with the idea of selling it in a few short weeks if not days. There was no bulling feeling with Kevin, we felt we could tell him exactly what we were comfortable listing our house at and our goals and expectations and he in return listened and tried to meet our expectation, when things needed to be changed we discussed it and move forward accordingly as a group.
Kevin’s marketing tactics were bar none! We were very impressed with all the different newspapers he advertised in on top of flyers that were sent out and those he personally hand delivered while door knocking in our area. I’m sure our buyer came because of all the marketing he did on our property!
We never told Kevin our bottom line acceptance price, and in the end he did achieve higher than our bottom line which was about $40,000 more than the listing price that other realtors were suggesting to list at! Going with Kevin was a very smart choice for us which saved us tens of thousands of dollars as his motivation was not to sell our house in a few days as many other realtors love to do.
We developed a friendship with Kevin and in return used him to purchase our next house with him. He showed us tonnes of houses and always had time for our needs. We purchased our new house and still contact Kevin for real estate and community advice. He is a great guy that does go the extra mile to ensure his clients happiness.
